Pastor Craig serves as Senior Pastor of Newlife, Pomona. He is highly relational and has an inspirational, visionary leadership style. By his influential prophetic preaching, he easily connects with others at a personal level.
He especially loves to encourage others to pursue balance in emotional and spiritual health, a result of his own life transformation. Resulting from his longing to have discipleship in his own life in his early years, his heart burns for the leaders of this generation, desiring that they find their identity and enjoy the freedom God has for them.
In 1985 Pastor Craig dedicated his life to the Lord and started serving in youth ministry at the Pomona Assembly of God in Pomona, CA. In the summer of 1988 he became the youth pastor at the Morro Bay Assembly of God in Morro Bay, CA and met Christine the following summer. They they married in 1990 and have three beautiful, adult children: Carissa, Chad, and Candace.
Craig and Christine served the Foursquare Church in Santa Maria, CA from 1990 through 1995 as the youth and singles pastors. Following this, he served as the Western District Foursquare Youth Director. In August, 1998 he moved back to southern California to pastor the LaVerne Foursquare church. The house church grew and moved into a fitness center (one in which he had worked out before he became a Christian). The church has flourished, becoming known for its food ministry that feeds thousands each week, prayer, worship, the prophetic, emotional health, missions and the Encounter School of Discipleship. The latter is a one- or two-year discipleship school dedicated to transforming the lives of young adults in every area of life.
